History of the Cyclauto

Timeless, the Cyclauto was invented in 1937 by the Grenoble industrialist Auguste Reymond.
At the time, notably due to a kerosene shortage, this mode of transport became very popular, gaining widespread success due to its originality, performance, and low cost.

The slogan from the 1940s for the CYCLAUTO brand was: “no gas, no chain, no pain”, reflecting a commitment to efficiency, economy, and simplicity that remains relevant today, and showcasing extremely innovative technology for a tricycle-type vehicle operating in France during that historical period.
